FAQ

Is the firewood seasoned? How long?
We have been selling firewood for over 30 years. It is seasoned a minimum of 1 year and we check moisture content before selling it.
What kind of wood do you sell for firewood?
Only Hardwood. Our mix does NOT have soft maple, evergreen, cottonwood, willow etc.
Do you sell any specialty wood?
Yes we sell “all oak”. Oak has a wonderful smell and burns hotter and longer than mixed hardwood.
Can I fit the pieces in a fireplace insert in my house?
Yes. We cut our firewood pieces to 17-18” long. If your insert is smaller let us know we can provide shorter pieces.
What size loads of firewood do you offer?
We offer face cords, half cords and full cords. A face cord is one row of wood 4’ high and 8’ long when stacked. A full cord is 3 rows of that size.
Can you stack the firewood when you deliver it?
Yes for an extra fee.
